Subverse is OUR network, and to ensure that it stays as such, we've outlined below the common data types that are transmitted by the SubverseIM app.
Data types that we cache from your device:
Fully anonymous OpenPGP public keys
Distributed Hash Table routing information
Data types that we NEVER receive, collect, or log:
User messages
User contacts
User / Device IP addresses
Data types that are ONLY stored on your device (encrypted, sandboxed):
User messages
User contacts
Data types that are ONLY disclosed to other users at your discretion:
Your preferred display name
Your anonymous OpenPGP public key fingerprint (Subverse ID)
Your device's IP address (during VoIP / Video sessions)
Data types that can't easily be traced back to you:
Your OpenPGP private key (automatically generated by the app)
Your device's IP address (in association with your Subverse ID)
Your messages
Data types that you can delete from YOUR device at any time:
User messages (including yours)
Your in-app contacts
